I wish the weather would make up its mind… one minute it’s dry and sunny, the next minute the sky goes completely dark and it’s pouring with rain. I don’t mind a bit of rain – after all, putting up with bad weather is the price we bikers have to pay in exchange for the ability to filter around all those traffic jams which car drivers cause – but it would be nice if people cocooned in their little hermetically-sealed and air-conditioned cages with their CD players going full blast would spare a moment to consider how unstable a mototbike can be on wet, greasy roads, especially when they go over white paint or drain covers.
So please have a little sympathy and give that bike an extra few yards of space, and don’t begrudge him the ability to filter past you because by the time you get to the front of the queue, roundabout, traffic lights, whatever – he’ll be long gone and in fact he won’t have impeded your progress one tiny bit.
